FinDatEx

After many years of successful informal collaboration, it has become apparent that the European

Working Group (EWG) would benefit from a stronger and clearer governance structure.

We are therefore happy to inform you of the launch of the Financial Data Exchange Group (FinDatEx)

to replace the European Working Group. FinDatEx is supported by the European Fund and Asset

Management Association (EFAMA), the European Banking Federation (EBF), Insurance Europe (link),

the European Savings and Retail Banking Group (ESBG), the European Association of Co-operative

Banks (EACB) and the European Structured Investment Products Association (EUSIPA). Other

European level associations have also been invited to participate and we hope will soon accept our

invitation.

FinDatEx will maintain the inclusiveness of the previous informal structure but aim to improve

transparency by establishing a clear process for drafting and adopting templates.
