FinDatEx today publishes the European ESG Template (EET) Version 1.1.1. This is an originally unscheduled update which became necessary to reflect the upcoming publication in the Official Journal of the EU of the Commission Delegated Regulation amending the SFDR RTS and containing requirements for pre-contractual, periodic and website disclosure on investments in fossil gas and nuclear. A number of related supplementary data fields has been added at the end of the template (see lines 682 ss). A further data field has been added as complementary PAI information (see lines 709 ss).
EET V1.1.1 will co-exist with V1.0 and V1.1 until 30 April 2023 after which FinDatEx expects only EET V1.1.1 to be used. The dedicated EET working group will review and restructure the EET following the end of this transition period and will transfer the now supplementary data fields into the main EET structure. Exceptionally, no public consultation was held, since only a few data fields needed to be added at short notice. Information was given on this website in mid-December about the forthcoming inclusion of the supplementary data fields. The next regular update of the EET will again be subject to public consultation.
