FinDatEx publicly consults the update of its ESG template - EET V1.1. The update reflects market feedback on the EET and reconsiders existing regulations. It does not contain structural changes, i.e., no new regulation has been incorporated. In the file subject to consultation, the changes can be seen in red.
The consultation is open until 21 October 2022. The EET V1.1 will be published as current template shortly afterwards. FinDatEx will recommend providing the EET V1.1 as of 1 December 2022, and there will be a transition period where V1 and V1.1 coexist until 30 April 2023.
Market participants that wish to comment on the draft EET V1.1 should send their comments to [email protected] until 21 October 2022 at the latest.
FinDatEx would like to point out that the amended SFDR RTS, as recently published by the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs), are not the subject of this update. The amended SFDR RTS, together with ESMA’s recently revised MiFID suitability guidelines, will be incorporated into the EET at the next update where work on it will begin in early H1 2023.
